Love this! I had a similar experience the Sao Miguel, Azores. Arrived for a week with no schedule, just do what feels natural. Yes, tours were booked but the rest of the time, just wandering around the historic town. Peaceful. Magical.

It's been rare for me to have these types of travel experiences with a 9-5 because with limited PTO I'm always trying to see everything instead of slowing down! So grateful for this week to give me more of that feeling and to remind myself that even when I don't have a ton of time, it's worth it to just sit and enjoy.

I love this, Stephanie! Aimless, timeless, nowhere to be but where you are. Sparking creativity, imagination and a sense of ease. This is the magic of solo travel and you've really captured it here! Glad you're having such a wonderful, nourishing time in France. Enjoy.

Yes, France is my favorite place to travel to, especially the little towns and villages. I agree with you on how kind and friendly the French are. Enjoy your time there.
